This update includes add preload applications, Fix several features.

Important Notice before Update:

1. We suggest you to download the "update.zip" to your PC first and copy the file from PC to your Micro-SD card with connected USB cable. (Attention:Please do not put "update.zip" file into any folders.)
2. Please plug in your AC adapter to the WebStation before the system update.
3. Before update: Please make sure your version must be Version 1.5, you can go to Settings→ About WebStation→Firmware version to check your version. If the software version is not as describe as below illustration, you may not to update the WebStation by your side, please contact your local service center for more details.

Update steps

 

Step1: Please put the Micro-SD card in your WebStation.

Step2: Press and hold the Home Key and use stylus to touch the reset button. The Home Key has to be continuously hold until the exclamation mark appeared.

Step 3: When the exclamation mark appeared, press and hold the Menu Key and press the Home Key at the same time. It is entering the Android system recovery utility. At this process, the Home Key is the up function, the Return Key is the down function and the Menu Key is the entering function.

Step 4: Please press Return Key and choose the second item ”apply sdcard:update.zip” and press Menu Key to update the system.

Step 5: After update, Please press the Home Key and choose the first item”reboot system now [Home +Back]”. Press Menu Key to reboot the WebStation.

Step6: After entered the system, please make sure the touch screen feature and the 3 buttons are functional.

Solution for reboot failure

If you have finished the updating system, but you can’t enter the system functionally, please repeat Step2 and 3 again. When you enter the Android system recovery utility, please choose the third item “wipe data/factory reset” to clear all data. Then please continue Step4 to Step6 to enter the system.

After the restart process, please use stylus to calibrate the screen. (as picture 11) WebStation will restart again and show the UI once the calibration is done.(as picture 9)
